2011 Has Been a Good Year For Adele

Adele is being recognized as one of the top selling artists of 2011. Her sophomore album "21" is by far the best selling album of the year, and has sold over 5-million copies since it's release back in February.

Adele's album has actually sold the most copies that the Record Industry has seen since Usher's "Confession" sold nearly 8-million copies in 2004. With the help of Adele's "21" and Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" albums, the Record Industry has noticed a 3-perfect increase in record sales, which is the most the industry has seen in seven years.
