There is a new bridge in Kentucky that was blown up and then reconstructed. Watch it step by step here.

First, the new bridge was constructed in pieces and floated down the river and raised next to the existing bridge:

Then the old bridge was demolished:

Then the new bridge was slid over to where the old bridge stood! The entire slide happened over two days!

When I lived in Vermont, there was a bridge that I used to travel over all the time when I was driving to New Jersey. It was demolished in 2009 because it was unstable. Here is the snowy video:
