"We recently adopted our son, Charlie, from Bogota, Colombia. We came home right before Thanksgiving after a 7-week stay in South America waiting for the courts to approve the adoption. We were so excited to make it home in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas! My husband Gary and I were so excited to take Charlie to see Santa for the first time because he literally will go to anyone, and we thought it would be a breeze. We were so wrong! I have never seen this child cry as hard as he did when he got a close look at Santa. We couldn't help laughing, which I'm sure made it worse. We are making this photo our Christmas card for 2013 because when you have a shot this good, you have to share it! Merry Christmas!"

"11 months old at the time in 2012, Brayden Joseph Barabas didn't take very kindly to Santa at the Boulevard Mall, as you can see. Hopefully we fare better this year!"

"The kid in the picture is my older brother and myself. It was taken in 1957 at Sattler's. The ironic part to this story is that I was so scared of Santa when I was 2 years old, but I ended up marrying a real-life Santa when I was 21!! He still plays Santa today at 58 years old (he has a real Santa beard too!)."
