Who could forget the movie "A Christmas Story," the "Red Rider BB Gun" Ralphy wanted for Christmas or the famed leg lamp in the front window of Ralphy's House? The folks in Hollywood have decided a sequel to "A Christmas Story" is in order so they've put out a casting call.

"A Christmas Story" enthusiasts may cry foul, but Hollywood is asking for actors and actresses to audition for the parts of Ralphy, his mom, dad, and younger brother Randy for roles in "A Christmas Story Too."

BeckSmithHollywood.com reports the new movie will apparently focus on a teenage Ralphy's desire for another special Christmas present, but this time it’s a 1938 Hupmobile Skyline convertible.

The house were the original movie was shot still stands in Cleveland.  In fact, it's called  "The Christmas Story House" and even has its' own Facebook page which is promoting the casting call for the new movie.  There's no word where the sequel will be shot.

The sequel will be directed by Brian Levant (“Beethoven,” “Are We There Yet?” “Jingle All the Way.")

The original movie was so hysterical, I think it will be hard to follow, but I would like to see them try! Here is the trailer for the original movie:
