A Listener’s Unique Tale Of Love — Delilah’s Reflections

We've heard many stories of love throughout the years, but this one takes the cake!

A loyal listener of Delilah chose to share this wonderful story about a colleague and his family:

Hi Delilah!
I have a super sweet story to share with you that brought tears to my eyes today at work. We have a colleague that works in another office and we usually communicate through office instant messaging. My co-worker mentioned not being able to find him in IM anymore and every time she typed his last name, it would link to a different last name. Right away, my co-worker and I started to theorize why a man would change his last name.
She finally decided to get bold and ask him what the name change was for. His reply was: "My wife and I have a daughter but I am not the biological dad. I have had trouble changing her last name since I am not on her birth certificate. So I decided to change my last name so the entire family has the same last name."
We were speechless for a moment. That is by far one of the sweetest things I've heard in a long time. What a guy! I want to nominate Markus for best dad of the year somehow, somewhere!
