Hi from sunny Buffalo! Although I was born in Boston, I have lived most of my life here in the Buffalo area. I must like it then, huh? The winters are great here. Since I bought a snow blower a couple of years ago I've barely had a chance to use it. You know guys have a special relationship with their "toys". If only I could have the same luck with my lawn mower. Went to Amherst Central High School, home of the Tigers not to be confused with the Bengals. They're from Buff State. I didn't go there but I managed to graduate from U. B. Communications is a tad easier than med school. Its always a pleasure to share some life experience with you on The New 96.1 JOY FM. Peace out.

The Lost Art Of Highway Courtesy. Or What Part Of No Left Turn Don’t You Understand?

I was about to pull out of the parking lot after doing my grocery shopping for the week at my neighborhood Tops.  I headed for the exit which opens onto a relatively busy street.  I was thankful that the folks at Tops had thought this out and placed an "island" in the middle of the exit which directed vehicles to the right and placed a No Left Turn sign at the driveway as well to make our lives just a little bit easier and safer.  And there it was,  the car ahead of me at the exit had no turn signal on.

Lick Or Treat! Keep Your Best Friend Safe This Halloween!

Halloween is almost upon us, and kids (and some adults)  are looking forward to being scared  to death (not literally) and dressing up in silly and frightening costumes. Dogs however, beg to differ. The mischief and pranks  which accompany the holiday  present a plethora of potential safety challenges that can take dogs and their parents by surprise. If you want your dog to share in your Halloween festivities, make it an event that is safe and enjoyable for both of you.

Look! Its Me On The Red Carpet! Sort Of. Win Free Tix To The Oscars!

Reba Returns: Soon To The Small Screen And Even Sooner To Western New York!

Ok, so technically Reba will be in Niagara Falls, Canada, just over the bridge and yes, you’ll need a passport or one of those fancy driver’s licenses to go see her but you know what I mean.  She’s putting on 2 shows.  The first is on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 8:30 PM and the second is Friday, Sept. 23 At the Fallsview Casino Resort.  She always puts on such an amazing show.
