The food in Buffalo is known around the country. Wings, Beef on Weck, great tacos and hot dogs. But there’s another side to Buffalo dining. Great restaurants with outstanding Chef’s that’s perfect for special occasions. I’ve picked some of my personal favorites, with apologies to all the other restaurants we don’t have space for!

The Left Bank
511 Rhode Island Street Buffalo.
Tucked away on Buffalo’s emerging upper west side, the atmosphere is very hip. Word of caution, its always busy and the noise level can get intense. A great menu, including enough choices if you’re vegetarian. I’ve had anniversary dinners there and enjoyed them all!
