Breast Cancer...the two words scare the daylights out of every woman. They scare the heck out of us guys too. I know, as I have watched and helped my wife through it not once, but twice over the last 4 years.

Thanks to God first and Roswell Park Cancer Institute second, my bride of 30 years is a survivor. Early detection and great medical care saved her life. One out of seven women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. And yes it's true, MEN can get it as well.

Please plan on joining us for the annual Bosom Buddies Walk for Roswell this Saturday, September 17th in beautiful and historic East Aurora. Maribeth will be riding her horse "Jake", just as she did the last 2 years at the Susan G. Komen for the Cure event at Delaware Park. Once again I'll be escorting her on my horse as a part of the Erie County Sheriff's Mounted Unit. Money raised will benefit the WNY Breast Resource Center at Roswell Park.

Click here to sign up or just get more information. Even if you can't join us, donate if you are able.  BUT PLEASE...do a breast self-exam and make that appointment for a mammogram today!
