Buffalo Lawn Fetes Destination Guide
The 96 Days of Summer in WNY mean church lawn fetes. The word fete means to celebrate or honor with a festival, a feast, or elaborate entertainment. I have lived in other states and they don’t use the word. So it's some what unique to WNY.Looking over the "fete" schedule through August I have counted no less than 23! And I'm sure I've missed some! Here's a handy guide:
Queen of Heaven

West Seneca, NY 14224
This year will be the thirtieth carnival for the parish and there will be a lot to do for the whole family wit a fun Cruise Night theme for the evening. The Queen of Heaven carnival is on July 7th.
St. Vincent DePaul RCC
6411 Seneca St.
Springbrook, NY 14140
The St. Vincent DePaul RCC lawn fete is on July 15 and includes games of chance, a beer tent, food tent, bell jar tickets, and live entertainment.
St. John The Baptist
2028 Sandrich Rd.
Alden, NY 14004
The festivities at St. John’s run from July 15 to the 17th and include food and games for the whole family.
St. Leo the Great

Buffalo, NY 14226
St. Leo’s has a huge lawn fete that runs from July 29th to the 31 and includes food, fun, games and even a performance by Lance Diamond on Saturday night.
St. John Vianney RCC
2950 Southwestern Blvd.
Orchard Park, NY 14127
The festivities begin on July 22 and end on July 24 and include children games, beer tent, gambling tent, food tend, and rides and giant midway.
St. Mary’s RCC

Swormsville, NY 14050
The St. Mary’s lawn fete is on July 24 and includes children games, beer tent, gambling tent, and food tent.
Resurrection RCC
Union Road and Como Park Blvd
Cheektowaga, NY 14225
The festivities run from August 5 to August 7 and includes children games, beer tent, gambling tent, food tent, and a chicken BBQ.
Our Lady of Victory RCC

Lackawanna, NY 14218
Our Lady of Victory lawn fete begins on August 6 and is over on August 7 and includes food and fun for everyone.
Annunciation RCC

Elma, NY 14059
The festivities run from August 19 to August 21 and their will be food and entertainment.
