Buffalo Winterfest THIS WEEKEND!

Buffalo Winterfest part of the 3rd Annual Powder Keg Festival is this weekend in Downtown Buffalo. New location this year, at Niagara Square and Delaware Avenue, with activities in Statler City as well.

The event starts Friday February 10th and runs through Sunday February 12th, the benefiting charity is the Buffalo Police Athletic League.

There's lots to do for families and kids at the festival!

The Family Entertainment Area is in Statler City on the Second Floor Saturday and Sunday, 11AM-6PM and includes; Celebrity Row Pictures, Face Painting,Winter Crafts, Carnival Games, Caricature Portraits just to name a few.

There are also Outside Winter Activities located in Niagara Square and on Delaware Avenue featuring the following;

Kids Sculpture Park •11AM-5PM
Shovels, Buckets, Food Coloring, and other materials will be available for kids to make beautiful snow sculptures.

Igloo Building Demonstration • 11AM

Registration begins 12PM
Judging begins at 2PM
Prizes awarded at 3PM

The Big Dig • 11AM-5PM
Toys, trinkets and coins will be buried in a snow pile for kids to find.

Mount Powder Keg • 11AM-5PM
Hills will be available for kids to climb and play on.

Ice Skating at Rotary Rink
Saturday 11AM-8PM • Sunday 11AM-9PM
Ice skating will be available for all ages

Knock Hockey •11AM-6PM
New Challenge Activities providing four Knock Hockey boards for kids to play for a donation.

Buffalo Scavenger Hunt •11AM-6PM

Petting Zoo • 11AM-4PM
