Can Your Appearance Affect Your Pay?

Yahoo Finance has published an article that deals with appearance and its direct Affect on your pay.

Some say physical appearance matters even more to employers than a cover letter.

Researchers have found that facial structure, hair color, and weight all can affect our paychecks. We can't help our genes, but some of them may be helping us more than others.

Here are some of the things you need to keep in mind:

A male taller than 6 foot will make over $5500 more than those shorter.

A woman's weight has a negative affect on her pay and  caucasian women receive more slack for higher weight.

A woman who is more than three inches taller than her co-workers can expect to be compensated as such.

Above average looks can account for a 5% increase in pay.
