Canal Fest Of The Tonawandas: Last Two Days

Saturday and Sunday are the final days for Canal Fest 2011 in the Tonawandas.

There are still plenty of things to see, do and eat before the festival wraps up. I was there Friday evening and bumped into dozens of friends and listeners and had to pace myself because of all the GREAT food. My favorites included St. Marks from North Tonawanda and the Freshly made lemonade stand. But you will find, sausages (chicken and regular), roast beef sliced right before your eyes, steak and cheese with pepper and onions...and all the rides for the kids. There is a more than adequate police presence, including Tonawanda and North Tonawanda police and the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
