    Chicken Pot Pie

There are some good commercial chicken pot pies available. Wegman's makes a pretty good one. But there’s nothing like home made. And the smell while it’s baking in the oven is heaven on earth! Try it with a little celery salt on top!

    Beans and Wieners with cornbread

Simple and inexpensive. Add some green pepper and onions for an extra kick. Bake it in the oven, and serve with a side of corn bread. Matter of fact, I’m having this dish this week.

    Pumpkin Pie

The truth be known, I love it year round, but you see it everywhere this time of year. I prefer it with real heavy whipping cream on top. But if I can’t get that, I actually like Cool Whip.

    Apple Crisp

I first learned to love this in middle school because they served it all the time. Make it from scratch with Western New York apples. Make sure it’s extra crunch on top!

    Chili

I’m partial to my wife’s home made chili but I love it all! Spicy, rich, and meaty. I love to add crackers and hot sauce! I mean in Western New York, everything’s better with hot sauce!
