Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords announced over the weekend she will be stepping down from her position to focus on her recovery. Giffords left supporters with the video "A Message from Gabby."

Giffords posted the video both on YouTube and her Facebook page. She's quoted as saying, "I will return and we will work together for Arizona and this great country."

A special election will be held to fill Giffords Congressional seat.
