I am loving Ted Danson on CSI!  After only two weeks, I am looking forward to a season of D.B. Russell solving crimes with a somewhat Sam Malone style of laidback humor.

D.B. Russell is a complete turn around from his predecessors' (William Petersen and Laurence Fishburne) more serious characters on the show.  For example, while walking through a neighborhood crime scene last night, D.B commented how his wife would like the neighborhood if not for the blood and crime scene tape.  He also called together his team for a "family meeting" last night.  His arrival is like a breath of fresh air for the show which saw its viewers peak in the 2002-2003 season at 26-million.  Last year, the show averaged half that number.  I'm betting it'll set some new records!  What's your opinion?
