James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd have made it to the semi-finals on 'Dancing With the Stars,' and this week, they showed us why they're there!

The pair shimmied their way across the dance floor in two completely different dances: first tackling the cha-cha with Michael Jackson's new tune, 'Love Never Felt So Good,' and later, in a cowboy-themed rumba.

Their King of Pop cha-cha was a flawlessly executed number that had judge Carrie Ann Inaba exclaiming to Maslow that he was "spectacular," saying he "did Michael Jackson James Maslow-style for 'Dancing With the Stars,' with cha-cha all over it!" And sure enough he did, even managing to effortlessly land MJ's iconic Moonwalk.

Maslow and Murgatroyd then performed their cowboy-themed rumba, with Maslow donning a black shirt with cerulean-sparkled designs on the shoulders during the sexy number. Once again, Inaba praised Maslow, calling him the "smartest competitor" on the show, while the other judges complimented him on strengthening his legs.

The dances scored them an overall score of 76 points, with a perfect 40 on the cha-cha and a 36 on the rumba. Maslow and Murgatroyd will head into the finals next week, competing against Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas, Meryl Davis and Maks Chemikovskiy (who may very well be the couple to beat) and Amy Purdy and Derek Hough, as Charlie White and Sharna Burgess were eliminated this round.
