Daredevil Number 2 Steps Up in Niagara Falls [VIDEO]

Three weeks ago, we had Nik Wallenda walking a high wire on the American side of Niagara Falls. Now, we've got Jay Cochrane on the Canadian side. Friday night, Cochrane walked a tightrope that was almost a quarter mile long from the Skylon Tower to the Hilton Hotel.

Texas resident Jean Wilkins said, "I think it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It's just amazing that he's doing it without any safety nets."

The daredevil says he's done this thousands of times.

"If it was easy, everybody'd be doing it," joked Cochrane.

With the rope perched over 500 feet off the ground, this walk, although not over the Falls, was higher, longer and perhaps more dangerous than Wallenda's. This 68-year-old walker did not wear a tether.
After last night's walk, Cochrane hopes to walk the wire 81 more times. He'll walk every night on the Canadian side of the Falls, weather permitting.
