The great protectors of Brody and Baby Luke. They are both such great family pets and bring much joy and love to us all. They are half brothers and don't like to be apart even for a minute. Of course, their favorite radio station is 96.1 Joy FM!!! Thank you, and Happy Summer.

Ella May is a 5-pound toy Poodle. She’s very smart! If  you place your purse on the floor and say, “Let's go shopping,” she jumps in it. She loves doggy clothes – she places her paws in them. She also loves the camera! She was my ring girl at my wedding, and she wore a wedding dress. Ella is a diva; at times you’d think she was human. She just loves to pose, shop and show off her outfit.

Ziggy is a 3-year-old Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix who I found on Petfinder and adopted from the City of Buffalo shelter as a 8-week-old puppy. He was removed from a hoarding situation along with 15 other dogs. He is a Canine Good Citizen and certified therapy dog through Therapy Dog International. He is an affectionate cuddle bug who enjoys visiting residents at local assisted living facility. He also takes competition obedience classes and will be entering a beginner novice trial. He loves playing with his squeaky bear and enjoys Milkbone trail mix.

Brooklyn (nicknamed "Binky") is a 2.5-year-old Sheltie. Because of her coloring, she looks like a miniature Lassie (Collie). Brooklyn was bred to be a show dog, but she was too tiny, at only 16 pounds fully grown. She certainly didn't let being tiny stop her from doing big activities. Besides being so darn cute, she has a great personality. She loves people and other dogs and entices the dogs to play with her and chase her by swishing her tail in their faces, which is hilarious to watch. She is not intimidated either because she is SO fast, despite her size, and can outrun almost any dog she plays with at the park. The one thing that Brooklyn likes to do best is to kayak. She enjoys it so much that she sometimes just falls asleep curled up in a little ball. It's a dog’s life, as they say, and Brooklyn is making the most of it.

Lilly is a wonderful 8-week-old Newfoundland that loves to roll in the grass, swim in her kiddie pool and lay in front of any fan she can find to keep her cool on these hot summer days. Her favorite hobby is to hide any gardening tools, sneakers or flip-flops she can find lying around. Born in a valley in Cattaraugus County, she is affectionately called ‘Lilly of the Valley.’

Pocket was the runt of the litter, born lifeless. I rubbed her, shook her and cleared nose. She was alive but struggled with health issues for her whole life. Anyone else would have waved the white flag a long time ago. She was named "Pocket" because my kids carried her in the pockets of their hoodies to keep her warm! She is a purebred Miniature Schnauzer and should weigh around 20 pounds. She is only 9 pounds (and that is after she just ate!). She will be 11 years old this September, and we are all amazed she is still with us! Time and again, the vets wanted to put her down, but we knew better!! She is truly amazing and so loving.
