Lucky and Corky (Submitted by Rachel Mathien)

They are sisters who always need to be together. They will be three this August. They are long-fur Chihuahuas. Their favorite snacks are Tim Hortons plain Timbits. They are both Daddy's girls who go crazy when Daddy gets home from work. Please vote for us.

Lily (Submitted by Erica Shaw)

Lily is a 2-year-old long-haired Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix. We rescued her from the Wyoming County Animal Shelter. Her and 43 other little dogs were put into three cat carriers and abandoned. She is the sweetest dog, who loves her fuzzy pink bunny and our shoes!

Shiva (Submitted by Arlene Jarmusz)

She is 15 weeks old, and she is very playful. She is a very loving and sweet dog. Shiva loves to explore and get into trouble. She loves our family, and we are glad to have her around. We love her very much and couldn't ask for a better puppy. She is a German Shepherd puppy. Shiva models for the camera, and we loved this picture of her that we entered. She is a very funny puppy.

Prince and Bozo (Submitted by Tracy MacDonald)

My husband actually brought them home as little puppies in the semi from Ohio. At first, his idea was just to sell them or give them away, but I fell in love with them. Love at first sight is real. They are Lab/Great Dane or Bull Mastiff mixes (we think). They know that when I come home from work, they get a night treat -- each of our three dogs gets a bone. They both high-five, roll over and LOVE to play with their "sister’s" stuffed pink flamingo.

Arthur (Submitted by Kristine Starkey)

Arthur is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is the king of my household, and I love him dearly. When I come home, he will not stop barking until I sit down and he is able to leap into my lap and receive belly rubs. Arthur thinks all stuffed animals belong to him and uses them as pillows. He is 8 years old, and I can't imagine living without him.

Star (Submitted by Janet Stroh)

Star is a 4-year-old Collie/Beagle mix and is a very active, playful dog whose favorite activity is playing ball. She lives to play ball and will do so all day long if she can find a willing human participant. She can be dog tired with her tongue hanging out, but she will not take her eyes off of the ball in eager anticipation of the next "toss."

Myles (Submitted by Briana Ziembiec)

Myles is my 4-year-old Boston Terrier! He has been with me since he was 10 weeks old. I've never met a dog with so much personality in my life. The little things that he does make me realize how lucky I am to have him as my pet. When I am sad or anxious or just having a bad day, it's like he knows to come sit on my lap with a toy and make it all better! Myles has a 2-year-old Boston brother named Vito who he's babied since we adopted him. Myles lies by Vito and kisses Vito until they fall asleep at night! It is the sweetest thing I've ever seen. Basically, I think Myles would be a great candidate for this contest because anyone who meets him says that he is the most unique and special dog they've ever met. He never leaves my side, but when he does, he will greet just about anybody with kisses. His favorite toy is simple -- an old plastic water bottle. He goes nuts! His favorite treat is apples and peanut butter and just about anything edible (he's a chunk!). This little guy lights up my life.

Shadow (Submitted by Jackie Emilson)

Shadow is our Bichon Frise. He will be three in August. Shadow loves anything he can chew on. My grandson and him are best friends. Dallas is giving him a drink in my flower pot.

Ariel (Submitted by Lisa Hurliman)

Ariel is a Lhasa Apso who loves to be pampered and treated like a little princess. She especially loves going for walks and trips to the groomer. Ariel is a spunky little girl and a great companion!

Nemo (Submitted by Tim LaDuca)

Nemo is our 15-month-old dwarf Border Collie. He has had many medical issues over the course of the last year, but he is the most loving, attentive and handsome little boy. He always puts such a smile on everyone's face.
