Elizabeth Hurley and husband Arun Nayar Split

Thanks Twitter. Supermodel/actress Elizabeth Hurley announced via Twitter today that she has called it quits with husband Arun Nayar after three years of marriage.

Hurley tweeted today:

"Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this."

How sad for her. Hurley, 45, and Arun, an Indian businessman, wed in March 2007 at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire.  She has had a rocky love life dating back to when she was seeing Hugh Grant. In 1995 Grant was caught picking up a Hollywood prostitute. A scandal that was shocking and totally embarrassing for her. Best of luck to her during this difficult time.
