Additional Information

What is your daughter doing this summer? She might master horseback riding, use forensic science to solve a mystery, learn to survive in the great outdoors or bake the most delicious cupcake! Either way, if she goes to one of the Girl Scout camps in Western New York, she will enjoy a memorable summer having fun, making friends and developing skills that will last a lifetime.

The Girl Scouts of Western New York has three day camps and two overnight camp facilities offering more than 130 summer camp sessions, many of which focus on a specific theme, such as theater, ropes challenge courses, horseback riding, baking and more. Themed activities are in addition to camp’s extra aspects, which includes making new friends, building camp fires, having cookouts, swimming and other activities.

To make camp easier for busy parents, before and after care is provided at day camp facilities. Your daughters can be dropped off at 8 a.m. and picked up no later than 5:30 p.m. Bus transportation is also offered for those attending day camp. Financial assistance is available.

You can view session dates and specific information, as well as access the 2013 summer camp guide, on the GSWNY website, www.GSWNY.org/camps.
