Extra Security Measures Added To The First Niagara Center

It looks like they're following in the footsteps of the NFL.  

Before the Bills season started, new rules, set forth by the NFL, limited certain things from coming into the stadium for security reasons. Now the NHL is following suit. It will take you a little longer to get into the games, so make sure you give yourself enough time.

The biggest change is the use of wands to scan everyone that comes in. It is now policy of the NHL, although they have been used at some events at the FNC in the past.
