Is This the Greatest Way to Ask Date to Homecoming?

I thought I was pretty good at being creative when asking dates to homecoming or prom in high school. But this kid in Virginia totally takes the cake. He gets the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol involved. I mean how can you top that? You can’t. But when you DO get the United States Customs and Border Patrol involved to ask a date to homecoming, you may get yourself into some hot water.

May be the most sought out, creative way in history to ask a date to homecoming. A guy in kid asked his dad, who is a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol pilot to fly his helicopter over a high school football field in northern Virginia to drop a stuffed animal that carried an invitation to the dance from his son to a girl. I wish there was a video or something I mean…they obviously didn’t  toss a teddy bear out of a helicopter hundreds of feet in the air and suddenly she caught it.

The Dad is under investigation regarding the misuse of a Customs and Border Patrol helicopter and has been put on administrative duties in the time being. I hope it was worth it!

But, most importantly, she DID say yes.
