Joy FM’s Engineer and Guide Dog Featured on CW23’s “Winging It” [VIDEO]

Many of you may not realize that Bill Stachowiak, Chief Engineer for JOY FM, and all of Townsquare Media Buffalo's radio stations is blind. Bill will tell you..."radio is an audio medium, why do I need to see".

September is National Guide Dog Month and CW23's 'Wingin' It' featured Bill and his guide dog Piper in this morning's segment. Piper came from Freedom Guide Dogs and was a serious change for Bill, allowing him more flexibility, and independence.

Piper guides Bill on the bus, to and from work, as well as around the office, and on any errands he may need to run throughout the day, and everyone at Townsquare just love him!
