Katy Perry Leads the Nominee List at Tonight’s “People’s Choice Awards”

While Katy Perry may be leading the list of nominees at the People's Choice Awards, she unfortunautely will not be present at tonight's ceremony.

Katy recently tweeted about her split with Russell Brand, and made mention that she won't be at the award ceremony, but didn't give any reason for her absence. Katy Perry has been nominated for seven People's Choice Awards, including Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Tour Headliner, Favorite Song and Favorite Pop Artist.

Lady Gaga and Beyonce are close behind Katy Perry, with five nods each, and Adele is up for four awards tonight.

The 38th Annual People's Choice Awards will feature performances by Demi Lovato and Faith Hill, and will be hosted by Kaley Cuoco from "The Big Bang Theory." Tonight's ceremony kicks off at 9:00PM on CBS.
