Lady Gaga Cancels Born This Way Ball Tour, Diagnosed With Severe Hip Injury

After announcing last night (February 12) that a severe joint inflammation disease called synovitis was forcing her to cancel three concerts, Lady Gaga has now canceled her entire Born This Way Ball tour.

Live Nation, the tour's promoter, announced tonight (February 13) that additional tests showed Gaga has suffered a "labral tear of the right hip...[and] will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict downtime to recover."

Ticket holders will be able to receive refunds for tickets they purchased to Gaga's 21 remaining shows from now until March 20.

Of course, the Miami show involved in our #BREAKFREE contest is one of the canceled dates. We will announce any further details when we receive them.
