Yes, it is true that there may be a law named after Snooki. But, it's not a good one. The law that would be called "Snookiville Law" (like...you would think this had to be a joke, right?) and it's looking like it is truly shaping up to become a law in New Jersey. It is going to be in place because...

Ocean County, where most of the 'Jersey Shore' was filmed, before it was canceled this year, is trying to regulate the conditions that reality television has created while in their area.  No doubt, when you hear that a reality show is being filmed in your nearby are-people will show up. The more popular the show, the more people. This is not necessarily a bad thing because it brings recognition and money to the towns where these shows are being filmed, according to NJ.com. The problem is, with more people coming the more security is needed as people are all over the set of these shows. The new law would force reality show productions to foot the bill for any increased police presence.

I think that all of this is a fantastic idea. The only thing I would have changed would have been the law's name. I still can't get over "Snookiville" as a law's name.
