I have a long list of moments that changed the course of my life. One of the best moments happened as a girl scout when I toured a local radio station. Right then and there, as a child, the seed of desire to be on the radio someday planted itself into my heart. I enjoy reading stories about those life-changing moments from my listeners, and here’s a recent one from Karissa…
I wanted to let you know that almost 3 years ago I had started casually seeing this one guy. We were hanging out one night and when I was on my way home I was listening to your show and all of a sudden I heard "slow down and love someone with Delilah". It made me realize I did need to slow down and love someone. Needless to say he and I have been together for almost 3 years now.
This past September we had gone to Disneyland for a week. There, my life changed forever. We were taking a picture in front of the castle and the passport photographer said he was going to pose us but all of a sudden I heard Andrew say "I have a better idea" and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I cried and said yes!
I love him with all my heart and I cannot wait to be his wife. I just wanted to say thank you, even if it was just something as small as saying slow down and love someone.
