If the Buffalo Canalside project has its way the mothballed grain mills on the Buffalo waterfront may see new light similar to what is currently being done in Quebec City where creative lighting is used to give the structures a unique look similar to the Aurora Borealis.

The Canalside project has been trying to figure out for sometime now how to include the aging mills into the fabric of the development project currently going on at the Buffalo River.  Although the commission does not own the grain mills they are in talks with the owners and hope to come to an agreement.
