Hi, it's Craig. I hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving weekend. I also hope you had some wonderful family time, saved a lot of money taking advantage of "Black Friday" and "Small Business Saturday" deals. For me, I did some thinking as I was playing all the great Christmas and holiday songs that we do on the New 96.1 JOY FM. Like all those traditions they sing about in the songs. I realized I hadn't done so many of them! For example...

Here I am 54 year old and I have never had "chestnuts roasting on an open fire". In fact I don't know where I'd go to buy chestnuts and how long do you roast them for?

Second, what is "figgy pudding" and how do you make it? And wasn't it kind of rude to insist that the guest wouldn't leave until they got some?

Third, this year I vow to find out what "Noel" really means!

Fourth, and this will be tough because my wife will insist on putting the tree in the corner, but I have never experienced "Rockin' around the Christmas tree".

And finally...I am going to learn how to sing the Spanish parts of Jose Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad" so I can sing along to the whole song!

Feel free to share some things related to the holidays that you have often thought or wondered about or have never done. Here's another one. Why would a guy bring some "corn for popping" on a date? So, what's on YOUR list?
