Newborn Baby Weighs in at Over 15 Pounds!

Baby George King came in at 15 pounds, 7 ounces!

Both of my kids were born at just over 5 pounds -- I couldn't even imagine 15!

That's like having a toddler! Come to think about it, my daughter is almost 8 and weighs 42 pounds. So my 8 year old is not even three times as heavy as this newborn.

Doctors reportedly had trouble with the delivery because they didn't realize the baby was so big. At one point, little George’s shoulders got stuck, and he was deprived of oxygen for five minutes, giving him only a 10 percent chance of surviving.

According to George’s mom, Jade, he didn't fit into any of his newborn clothes, instead going right into 3-6 month wear.
