Well admit it—even if you think this is absolutely ridiculous, you wouldn’t really mind it. A petition rallying as many people as possible and have thousands of signatures will be sent to WhiteHouse.gov proposing the Monday following Super Bowl Sunday to be a national holiday.

The geniuses behind the act hope the Obama administration will realize that they would 'promote camaraderie among the American people, keep the streets safer for our children on Sunday night and Monday morning, promote a productive workplace when work resumes on Tuesday, and honor the most popular event in modern American culture.'

And if millions of signatures isn’t enough. They have proven facts to back them up (to allow you to drink like fish next Sunday):

1.) An estimated 11 million people will watch the Superbowl (and I’m guessing nearly all want to go to work the next day)

2.) “Unlike politicians, the Super Bowl unites us in 'the largest location-independent gathering of American people.” (so true haha)

Don’t you think Obama wants off too next Monday? Like he has anything importannnnt to do being the president of a country.
