You're a parent, and finally on Facebook. Congratulations!

Your kids have "friended" you...and you are about to venture onto their home turf. Yahoo has listed things that you should NOT do in the wonderful land of Facebook:

Don't over-share facts about your son or daughter. Remember everyone can see this.

Don't get too personal on their Wall. Personal comments are best sent in message form.

Never reply to comments left for or by your kids. Trying to be a "cool" parent or to "fit in" usually backfires.

Don't "Like" too much. "Liking" every picture or comment they put up, is limiting their independence.
