‘Play Streets’ Hits Buffalo! [VIDEOS]

Over the weekend, a nationwide initiative aimed at addressing the issue of obesity kicked off in Buffalo.

“Play Streets” shut down a portion of Manhattan Avenue and loaded up the street with tons of events that promote exercise, eating healthy and disease prevention. The program targets kids, hoping to teach them healthier living at an early age.

If you missed the first run of “Play Streets”, don’t worry. The program runs through September….in fact, here are the next event dates.

- June 2nd – on Northland @ Wholers Avenue

- July 7th – on Seneca and Babcock Streets

- August 4th – in Allentown

- September 1st – Rees Street by Buffalo State College
