The Postal Service  has raised the price of mailing a letter by a penny, to 45-cents.  The price for mailing a single-piece First-Class Mail postcard is going up $0.03, to $0.32. Stamped postcards will increase to $0.35.  You can find other price change information by clicking here.

The hikes are part of an overall increase in prices aimed at  dealing with what U.S.P.S calls its' "current financial challenges."  The Post Office reportedly lost more than five-billion-dollars last year.
