Shia LaBeouf had a bit of a rough night, ending with his arrest in New York.

The 28-year-old actor attended a Broadway show of ‘Cabaret’ this evening (June 26) at Studio 54. Per E! News, NYPD divulged that Shia was acting unruly and smoking inside of the theater.

“He was disruptive during act one and escorted out of Studio 54 at intermission,” a ‘Cabaret’ rep shared with E!.

The police then allegedly escorted the ‘Transformers’ star out of the theater in handcuffs. When he continued to act disorderly, he was taken into custody and brought to a police station.

Tony nominee Benj Pasek further confirmed the story when he tweeted that he saw Shia being led out of the show in tears.

Sadly, this isn’t the former Disney star’s first run-in with law enforcement. He’s previously been detained for bar fights, and was arrested in 2008 for hitting another vehicle while driving under the influence.

As of right now, Shia’s charges for the ‘Cabaret’ incident are still pending.
