Snooki & J-Woww Hit A Brick Wall (Not Literally)

In an attempt to begin filming their new "Jersey Shore" spin-off, Snooki and J-Woww are up against a brick wall in "Brick City."

Newark, New Jersey Mayor Cory Booker wrote a rejection letter to 495 Productions, in response to their request to film the new reality show. The mayor thinks that the TV show will bring too much attention to the city, and he doesn't think that will sit well with the residents there.

Snookie and J-Woww have also received the cold shoulder from several other areas in New Jersey, and several businesses and bars have posted "Snooki-free"  and "No Snooki" zone signs in their windows.
