The Super Bowl has come and gone but we all remember the very patriotic scene of the Navy fighter jets flying over the dome in Dallas. Anyone have an idea how much that flyover cost the taxpayers of America?

Yahoo.com reports that a Dallas TV reporter estimated it cost about $450,000. Kind of ridiculous considering the dome was closed and the fans inside had to watch the flyover on the mega-jumbo TV.

Apparently the Navy considers these flights training missions and aids with recruiting so there is no reimbursement from the NFL required.
