America's Got Talent

What makes Florida so great? No, not the faux zombie apocalypse, but rather the people. There’s all sorts of individuals residing in Tampa Bay, Florida who are yearning to have their chance in the spotlight. Luckily for them, ‘America’s Got Talent‘ gives them that opportunity. But the question is: will they shine or flub on their first try out on that stage.

During the judges’ first day in Austin, Texas they clearly saw some of the potential skill and talent that the midwestern city has to offer. Now we’re on day two of their trip to the culturally rich city in tonight’s episode of ‘America’s Got Talent.’ Who will royally embarrass themselves on stage? We have no idea, but here’s hoping there’s a lot of folk like that on the show tonight.

The episode tonight places the judges of ‘America’s Got Talent‘ in Austin, Texas. With festivals like SXSW and Fantastic Fest in this town, we figure there’s at least a few of the Austin townfolk who must be pretty talented. At least we hope so…

Piers Morgan, the tart-tongued British judge on ‘America’s Got Talent,’ has announced he’s leaving the television competition to focus more on his eponymous nightly talk show. On Wednesday, he told his 1.5 million Twitter followers, “I’m leaving America’s Got Talent after 6 wonderful years. Turned out that juggling’s harder than it looks, so I’m going to focus on CNN.”

British import Piers Morgan has decided to give up his judging duties on America's Got Talent to devote full time to his CNN interview program. His decision comes after six years on the talent competition, and just one season of doing both shows.

After a two-hour season finale 'America's Got Talent' (Wed., 8PM ET on NBC) crowned its Season 6 winner.

Finally tonight is the night we have been waiting for. After months of performances, it comes down to four final acts and a battle between dance and voice on 'America's Got Talent'.

Do you remember making shadow puppets as a kid? That's the best way I can think of to describe "The Silhouettes." The 42-member dance troupe created a powerful tribute honoring America on "America's Got Talent" last night.  The act was the last to take the stage of 12 semi-finalists and, I think, definitely the best.  Check out the video:
