I’ve got to start with a confession: I don’t remember most of the commercials on TV during my high school years. But if the commercials were as mind-bogglingly strange as the ones from the 1990s seem to be, I think I might have asked for home schooling.
One downside of the Big Game broadcast each year is that so many commercials run during the game, or during the pre- and post-game shows, that sometimes a great commercial just gets lost in the sheer number of ads. This one, I think, doesn't deserve that fate.
One would expect a Will Ferrell Super Bowl Commercial to be talked about for weeks in advance, or at least be in the running for best ad after the game. Nope. Nobody knew about this spot except the folks in North Platte, Nebraska.
