2011 UB Spirit Challenge Draws Hundreds Of Cheerleaders!
My daughter's cheer team spent Sunday competing at the University at Buffalo's "2011 UB Spirit Challenge." Hundreds of cheerleaders from across Western New York jumped, shouted and gave it their all at UB's Alumni Arena.

TV Themes Go Acapella (VIDEO)
With all due respect to American Idol, The Voice, and all the other singing competitions on TV these days, my favorite is The Sing-Off, which features groups of acapella singers, performing everything from pop hits to Broadway classics. The groups are very talented , the arrangements are amazing , and judges Ben Folds, Shawn Stockman, and newcommer Sara Bareilles are helpful, not abrasive or insulting.
