Easter is this weekend, and I'm sure you and your kids will be decorating eggs. The first step in that process is hard boiling two dozen eggs. Sure you may only need one dozen, but to decorate, but between my brothers and I, I would break at least a dozen in the process of decorating!
Now that St. Patrick's Day weekend is behind us, Easter is approaching faster than Peter Cottontail on a spring day. For many people, Easter Brunch is a very popular way to celebrate with their families, so we have put together a list of restaurants that are offering a nice family meal for the holiday.
Buffalo isn't exactly short on dishes and delicacies that make out-of-towners scratch their heads. I'm pretty sure I've never gotten through a conversation with a friend living in some other corner of the country without hearing "Beef on what?" or "What's a loganberry?" My family and I wish you a Happy Easter! Easter morning in the Chille household began about 6:50am (twin 10 year olds), with Colby and Grace searching for Easter baskets, Corinna thought I should sleep-in (God Bless you honey).
Let's back up to the pre-Easter activities on Saturday...
As far as holidays go, Easter might not be as popular as Christmas or Halloween, but it still has traditions and treats that can raise anyone’s spirit, mood or blood sugar level.
The most interesting part of this annual celebration of Spring and rebirth is the supposed difference in the ways they are celebrated.
It would not be Easter without some of our favorites. I stood in line last night to grab Lindt bunnies at a savings. Earlier in the week, I ran down to Choco Logo to grab the chocolate toffee pretzels. I ran literally. Cadbury eggs are another treat this time of year. Here's a...
Nothing like the last minute. The family decided to finally color Easter Eggs yesterday. I don't hard-boil eggs very often and they need to be perfect so the kids can color them.
