The Mother of Modern Computers was born on this day in 1815. How important was Ada Lovelace to the development of computers? Among her contributions was the idea that computers could do more than just crunch numbers.
You probably know that electronics have a tendency to get smaller . But I don't think anything has shrunk so dramatically as computers.
Maybe it's just me, but the thought of following, as closely as possible, the exact route of RMS Titanic to commemorate the centennial of its only voyage sounds more than a little creepy. But that's what some 1,309 souls are up to this week.
