Kmart Closing Lancaster Location

Kmart will close its Lancaster store on April 14. Last year, Kmart announced they were going to close 60 stores in 2013, and it looks like the Kmart in Lancaster on Transit and French will be one of them. Their lease runs out on April 14, and they will not renew. Kmart still has four local stores.

My son's best friend and teammate was hit in the head with a line drive while pitching during a tournament in Lewiston. My daughter, Jenna, and her girlfriends attended the "8th Grade Dinner Dance" this weekend as they wrap up classes and exams at Lancaster Middle School over the the next couple of weeks. In September, they'll be freshman at Lancaster High School. I can't help but feel the transition is somewhat bittersweet.
