There are parts of Western New York that you never knew existed, but there is one park in Williamsville you should know some of the history behind.

Monkeys can be troublemakers. They steal. They're sloppy kissers. And if you're another animal, one might just jump on your back and use you as a taxi.

Monkeys! *shakes fist* Yes, they can be awfully cute at times, like when they groom each other or wear people clothes and shop at Ikea. But they can also be quite larcenous, and we have tons of proof.

APEril is a six-month-old white handed gibbon ape. Up Chuck is a middle-aged cat. They both live at the Monkey Island Rescue animal sanctuary and, as you can see in this adorable video, they are playmates.

We commend this cat, whose patience is dangling by a thread. If cats can grind their teeth, then Chuck (named after her propensity for barfing) must be doing it for this whole video, as extremely playful (and handsy) baby gibbon APEril climbs all over her...

We LOLed heartily and shivered in horror at the same time when we first saw 'Nicolas Cage Cats,' an unholy hybrid of felines and the internet's favorite actor. Now, Cage continues his inadvertent domination over the animal kingdom with this photo of a newly-discovered monkey species that looks just like him.
