Time changes seem to throw us all of for a day or two. At least it does me. The sun looks out of place in the sky, you feel tired, things are just a little bit out of place.
How Veterans Day Began
Veterans Day is always observed on Nov. 11 with speeches and parades across the U.S. The holiday began as Armistice Day on Nov. 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I.
