You just needed a little paint to touch up one room, but you bought a whole gallon. You can't throw it in the trash. So what do you do with it now?

If you have bought paint recently in New York State, you have probably noticed it is more expensive than it used to be. In fact, if you look a little closer at your receipt you will see another line item for a new "tax" on paint. The New York State fee is being added, and they claim that New York State doesn't get any of the money.

State law now requires you to safely throw away your old paint cans. Luckily, there's an easy way to find a drop-off spot new you!

Who DOESN'T love a project that starts out simple and ends up 200 percent more time-consuming and frustrating than you initially thought, huh???? (Note the dripping sarcasm.)
