January 14, 2013 I've always dreamed of walking the infamous "red carpet". So far, the closest I've gotten is the maroon-ish corridor at the Pittsburgh airport. Not nearly as classy. And for some reason, no one wanted to snap pics of me in sweats, $500 sunglasses and Uggs. (PS, I do not own any of those three things)
Tonight at the 2012 Grammy Awards, pop stars hit the red carpet for pictures prior to the big event. Like any other A-list award show, stars like Adele, Bruno Mars, David Guetta, Kelly Rowland, Wiz Khalifa plus many more hit the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards dressed to the nines.
The stars of the small screen turned out for the 2011 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday evening, dressed to the nines for television’s big night. Taking a cue from the carpet’s hue, starlets like Lea Michele (‘Glee’), Nina Dobrev (‘The Vampire Diaries’) and Kate Winslet (‘Mildred Pierce’) showed up in red gowns and trains were in too, with actresses including Kristen Wiig (‘Saturday Night Live’), Christina Hendricks (‘Mad Men’) and Cobie Smulders (‘How I Met Your Mother’) sporting floor-sweeping hemlines.
How would you like to sit in the Red Carpet bleachers at the 84th Academy Awards in Hollywood next February? A random drawing is being held tomorrow (Sunday) night for 700 seats along the walkway leading to the Kodak Theatre where the ceremony is held. Won't my friends and future friends be impressed.
