The tradition continues! Things will look a little different this year for the 43rd annual Shamrock Run in Buffalo to benefit the Old First Ward Community Center, but if you run the race every single year, you can keep your tradition alive...

It will be the greenest run of the year in Buffalo, New York. Approximately 6,000 runners in different divisions will take to the streets this Saturday morning in the Shamrock Run. The Post-Race Party is happening at the Old 1st Ward Community Center on Republic Street in Buffalo. There will be refreshments and beer in the beer tent. Non-runners get in for $10. Hungry? Every year, I do that Shamrock Run down in the Old First Ward. It's always a great time, regardless of my frozen lips and hands. This weekend (March 2), the 2013 Shamrock Run was the biggest in Buffalo history, with nearly 5,600 runners. I'm usually a runner, but I got tired and decided to jog it out and make a video instead.
