The holiday season has snuck up on the American consumer once again, and rather than feeling completely overwhelmed by travel plans and last-minute shopping and the millionth playing of 'Jingle Bell Rock,' almost half of the population simply wishes we could just skip Christmas altogether.
Well, this is one you don’t hear every day. A primary school in England has banned one of the students from participating in No Shave November, the popular deed of not shaving for the month to show support for cancer survivors and victims. The catch, the boy was growing a massive mustache at 13. But, why did the school ban it?
Last year, Best Buy made a bunch of their customers angry when they were unable to fill the orders taken on Black Friday and Cyber Monday due to a lack of inventory. The company then failed to make its customers aware of this until just days before Christmas. Needless to say, Best Buy’s customer-service practices have not been held in very high regard ever since.
Though there's plenty of frustration during Black Friday shopping madness, and though you may find yourself wanting to go postal waiting in long checkout lines, let's not forget our manners. While some fanatical Black Friday and Cyber Monday shoppers are already at the gates waiting to assault the holiday-shopping season with their fearsome craving for stuff, some retail analysts say the gates are actually open now and the race is already in progress.

The big gimmick this Thanksgiving season is retailers beginning their Black Friday sales on Thursday, a day previously reserved for turkey and football with the family. This has understandably annoyed retail employees, who now have to work on what was previously a holiday. It also isn't necessarily winning over consumers.
Some people have a take-it-or-leave-it attitude towards turkey. Not me. White meat, dark meat, breast meat, drumstick, it's all good to me. Even though I'm enjoying Thanksgiving dinner at my sister's , I still got one of those cheap turkeys to cook up later. But of all the ways I've eaten turkey, I've never had it deep fried.
Thanksgiving is a time for the family to come together, tell stories, then sit down and feast on some tasty, belly-expanding deliciousness. Turkey, gravy, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie are all Thanksgiving staples, but if you want to really spice things up a bit this year, we have some ideas.
Thankgiving is a time for giving. Food, money, time, love. How 'bout blood?
